Wide range of stitch patterns for more flexibility in your sewing projects

The bernette 37 has 50 different stitches, consisting of 17 utility and stretch stitches, two darning stitches and 19 decorative stitches, five buttonholes and seven quilting stitches. This means you are well equipped to handle any sewing project. The stretch stitches enable you to sew elastic jersey fabrics.

Good stitch quality, even on thicker fabrics

The 2-step presser foot lift enables the bernette 37 to master even thick layers of fabric. This is a real advantage when quilting, for example. The two steps involved in lifting the presser foot give you more space between the presser foot and the transporter, so you can place various layers of fabric beneath the foot.

Simple operation for more efficient sewing

The bernette 37 is easy to operate via the LCD display. It shows the current stitch, stitch length and stitch width. You can change the individual settings by pressing the relevant buttons. It is even possible to change the settings as you sew. If you want to sew without the foot control, you can use the start/stop function on your sewing machine. This is especially useful if you need to sew longer sections or if you want to stand at the table to sew.

Decorative and quilting stitches for magical embellishments

Not only does the bernette 37 have a wide range of utility stitches, such as straight stitch and zigzag stitch, but it also offers a whole series of decorative and quilting stitches, which you can use to add beautiful patterns to your sewing projects.

b38 + b37 Tutorial – How to sew on a button (5/7)
You will find additional information at http://www.mybernette.com The right button for every buttonhole: With your b38 or b37, it is very easy to sew on buttons and we will show you just how to do it in this tutorial video. First select the zigzag stitch and reduce the sewing speed. In your accessory box you will find the button-sew-on foot T, which you will now attach to your bernette sewing machine. Lower the feed dog and lower the needle with the hand wheel into the left hole of the button. Once you have lowered the sewing foot, sew three stitches and then stop. Now check with the hand wheel whether the needle fits into the right hole or whether you need to change the stitch width. Then sew several stitches with the foot control. Finally you just have to press the "Automatic sewing up" button and you can lift the feed dog again: your sewn-on button is now done!
